Falling Into Place | The Update

by Senior Ps. Erich & Joanne Eisenhart

Hey Church!

Remember that the location of Summerfest this Saturday has been moved to:

Lake Garrison
849 Buck Road
Monroeville, NJ 08343

The time is still 10am – 6pm and we are still asking people to bring a side dish by 12:30 to the judging table to be a part of our “Awesome Side Dish” competition. Baptisms are at 12pm; lunch is at 1pm. The rest of the time is going to be full of games and fun on the lake.

I just spent a few days in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. It’s such a beautiful place in this great country that we live. I just took some of my kids and grandkids to James Madison’s home “Montpelier.” I was originally going to go to Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s home; but then again everyone goes there. James Madison was an amazing man from a wealthy Virginia family, who spent most of his younger years studying and reading books written in 9 different languages. Educated at Princeton University, he was probably one of the youngest men who worked tirelessly on the framing of our Constitution.

As our tour guide began to explain how everything in Madison’s life fell into place for him to be who he was and where he was at such a crucial time in our history, I couldn’t help but think how God had divinely placed him where he was. At True North we quote Jeremiah 29:11 a lot because we believe it to be true. “I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” I believe with all my heart that God has an ordained plan for your life. All our plans may be different, but they are all eternal and have significance. A part of that plan is be to connected with the Church He is building; and as you stay connected, you’ll begin to see your plans take shape. What an honor and privilege to be part of what God is doing on this earth and to be your pastors as well. Be Blessed!

Your Pastors,

Erich & Joanne Eisenhart
